Greenhouse Electrician

ELECTRICIAN

50% Travel within the U.S.

 

This position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for performing skill journey-level work on greenhouses and other structures.  Will be traveling and working with vendors to understand their greenhouses and systems for installation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Learn and be able to set-up greenhouse control systems along with teaching and training others to program the systems whether in person, remotely or virtually
  • Responsible for working with outside vendors to understand their greenhouse systems
  • Assist with installing greenhouses and systems at client site
  • Troubleshoot concerns or issues and perform root cause analysis to determine cause of issues or concerns.
  • Install new electrical wiring or equipment according to the National Electrical Code and company electrical standards
  • Maintain or assist in repairing equipment and systems
  • Responsible for plumbing on irrigation systems and perform maintenance on systems (plumbing, electrical, inspection, repair and automated equipment and other PLC controlled automation systems)
  • Be available for critical emergency situations that may require a response to act quickly, troubleshoot or leave to travel to a client site
  • Be safety conscious, complete job safety analysis and strive for a safe environment abiding by company and OSHA regulations at all times
  • Responsible for lockout/tagout procedures as mandated by company policies and OSHA
  • Domestic travel up to 50% of the time
  • Be flexible to be available on call as required off of work hours as needed or on the weekend
  • Other duties as assigned

The Sports Official is responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of each child enrolled in the program. He or she demonstrates leadership, shows active participation and enthusiasm on the court or field. MRI Technologist

TITLE: MRI Technologist

DEPARTMENT: Radiology

POSITION STATUS/HOURS: Part-time .80 FTE (64 hours per pay period), shifts varying between start time of 6:30 a.m. and ending time of 11:00 p.m. plus call for X-ray and CT. Rotational on-call shifts will include weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call hours. Call rotation will be every 6th weekend, with 1 day at most of call a weeknight. Generally, a day off after a call shift. Response time is 30 minutes. Benefit eligible position.

 

On March 19, 2018 we opened our brand new, state of the art, Radiology Suite as part of our new building and renovation project. Services offered at Grant Regional include: general radiology, bone density, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy. Come join our team!

Additionally, MRI tech will be expected to perform X-Ray, C-Arm, and fluoro cases as needed. Will be cross trained, if not already, to perform bone density and CT. Call will be for X-Ray and CT only. Currently we do not have MRI call, but could change depending on future growth. Call rotation will not start until cross-trained in CT.

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties would include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce quality MRI’s of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by Radiologist.
  • Position patient on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified areas of body requested by physician.
  • Explain procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Maintain patient records, monitor equipment functions monitor patients while thy are being scanned, and ensure the image captured is clear and readable.
  • Follow specific procedures to ensure your safety and the safety of other workers and patients.
  • Function as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce quality radiographs of body for diagnostic purpose, as directed by Radiologist.
  • Practices radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills, and knowledge of applicable exposure factors to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
  • May operate mobile radiographic equipment in operating room, emergency room, or at patient’s bedside.
  • Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere for patients.
  • Transfer and properly position patients for examinations and provide immobilization as required and protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Select and operate equipment, selecting proper technical factors on an individual patient bases.
  • Use film markers correctly and consistently.
  • Assist physicians in performance of examinations.  Assist in performing first aid as necessary.
  • Practice sterile techniques and prevents cross-contamination.  Maintain orderliness and cleanliness.
  • Secure and return supplies and maintains room stock.
  • Report equipment failure to supervisor using proper forms and maintaining appropriate records.
  • Responsible for delegated areas of authority in the performance of routine or special procedures.  In the absence of the supervisor or senior technologist, may be designated as acting supervisor.
  • Perform and obtain complete patient history, proper documentation, and consents.
  • Purge and digitize film following required guidelines.
  • Complete image release processes appropriately.
  • Assist in scheduling exams and procedures.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an MRI Technologist.
  • Current State of Wisconsin license as a Licensed Radiographer.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Previous MRI Technologist Experience Required.
  • Knowledge of anatomy; including cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

7. Actively participates in meal time expectations.  Assisting children in serving themselves meals and snacks.  Following all State CACFP regulations.

8. Assist in diapering and dressing children.

9. Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, daily attendance and medications administered.

10.  Assists the Lead Teacher to plan and implement lesson plans to nurture and stimulate appropriate development of the children in your care.

11.  Responsible for securing health, hygiene, safety and overall well-being of children at all times. 

12.  Use positive guidance techniques rather than harsh discipline to support children through challenging behaviors. 

13.  Support children’s emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive concepts. 

14.  Assists the Lead Teacher with both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy. 

15.  Follow strict cleaning and sanitizing procedures for toys, changing tables, meal preparation, etc.

16.  Assists in the implementation of programs, which encourages parent involvement and development. 

17.  Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to supervisor or parents/guardians attention.

18.  Participates in professional development training that lead toward enhancing professional qualifications, at least 10 contact hours annually. 

19.  Establishes and maintains a level of rapport with students that results in students being shown that all individuals are deserving of respectful and dignified treatment and promoting a healthy self-concept in all students. 

20.  Protects the health and safety of children on the playground and in the building at all times, maintaining appropriate ratio at all times throughout the day. 

Requirements

  1. Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
  2. An Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood is preferred, or one year minimum experience in an early childhood setting may be considered.
  3. Para-educator Certification through the BOEE in early childhood education. If do not currently have this, must be actively enrolled in BOEE paraprofessional course at the start of the school year. 
  4. Free from a conviction or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse.  
  5. Must complete CPR, First Aid, Universal Precautions, Better Kid Care NSO, Essentials Childcare Preservice Series, and Mandatory Reporting in the first three months of employment and 10 contact hours of child related training annually.
  6. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive agency vehicles, as assigned.

Greenhouse Electrician

ELECTRICIAN

50% Travel within the U.S.

 

This position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for performing skill journey-level work on greenhouses and other structures.  Will be traveling and working with vendors to understand their greenhouses and systems for installation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Learn and be able to set-up greenhouse control systems along with teaching and training others to program the systems whether in person, remotely or virtually
  • Responsible for working with outside vendors to understand their greenhouse systems
  • Assist with installing greenhouses and systems at client site
  • Troubleshoot concerns or issues and perform root cause analysis to determine cause of issues or concerns.
  • Install new electrical wiring or equipment according to the National Electrical Code and company electrical standards
  • Maintain or assist in repairing equipment and systems
  • Responsible for plumbing on irrigation systems and perform maintenance on systems (plumbing, electrical, inspection, repair and automated equipment and other PLC controlled automation systems)
  • Be available for critical emergency situations that may require a response to act quickly, troubleshoot or leave to travel to a client site
  • Be safety conscious, complete job safety analysis and strive for a safe environment abiding by company and OSHA regulations at all times
  • Responsible for lockout/tagout procedures as mandated by company policies and OSHA
  • Domestic travel up to 50% of the time
  • Be flexible to be available on call as required off of work hours as needed or on the weekend
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

    • PLC knowledge including programming, troubleshooting preferred but not required
    • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, shop drawings
    • Must be able to be on call when needed off of work hours or on the weekends as necessary
    • Will need to have a valid driver’s license for the travel requirement

 

 Education and/or Experience:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    • Current journey level experience and license is preferred and at least two years of experience
    • 1-2 years of plumbing experience required
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license
    • First Aid, CPR Certification is a plus
