MATERIAL COORDINATORS- JD42

WAGE: $25/HOUR

HOURS: 1ST SHIFT, 6am to 230pm with possible overtime working 6am to 430pm, may include some evening hours and some Saturdays

CONTRACT: ONSITE, 3 years

 

Description:

Coordinates the flow of materials and the filling of Kanbans in a department of the factory, which may include shipping and receiving. Ensures that the production personnel have the parts they need in order to produce the desired product. Oversees and ensures that the inventory is correct and on time and identifies problems and makes suggestions involving production schedules. Ensures material logistics follow  Production Systems principles. Coordinates the activities for the tactical execution of a production plan within a smaller group of the factory. Typically an initial position in the organization. Duties: Coordinates department(s) schedule performance for procuring, expediting, the movement of rejected material to source. Recommends procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management. Finds root cause of material shortages. May provide recommendations for solutions. Utilizes Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules. May include the processing of transactions for inbound/outbound materials. Audits material replenishment cycles and accuracy and may create material replenishment plans with assistance. Counts and resolves inventory errors and expedites parts to ensure uninterrupted production. Works critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.

Specific Position Requirements:

 

Support production departments/employees on part shortages or problems and drive for resolution and root cause of issues. In addition, communicate issues/resolution to the appropriate module representatives for follow up, provide recommendations for solutions, resolve consumption errors, maintain inventory accuracy/management, and implement engineering release and change management processes.

 

Bachelor’s degree is not required, but preferred

Must Haves:

  • Ability to work off-shift hours and overtime, as needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Material flow, Inventory Control or Supply Management experience

 

1st Shift, Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm or 6am – 4:30pm. May include a few extra evening hours and some Saturdays. Please be advised that Saturdays are only scheduled as needed which is generally one or so per month.

Our client in Dubuque is seeking an Inventory Verifier on 1st shift.  Hours will be Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 3pm. 

Basic Duties will include:

  • Perform daily inventory counts
  • Analyze and reconcile discrepancies
  • Maintain inventory transactions and databases
  • Operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, and other equipment required

Job description

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing day to day business flow with a focus on sales, staffing, inventory management and guest experience. Successful candidates are extroverted in nature and love working in a fast-paced environment.

SALARY: $50K/YEAR

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the facility.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers (schools, churches, non-profits, community groups, etc)
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns
  • Be the eyes and ears on the floor to ensure the ultimate guest experience by coaching team members and interacting with guests

Personnel Management:

  • Ensure an employee culture of competence, high standards and mutual-respect through exemplary hiring and training of all team members
  • Create weekly schedules that best meet business, event and employee needs
  • Schedule and oversee our maintenance team to make routine repairs and keep our facility clean and beautiful
  • Assist in the oversight of event bookings
  • Oversee all social media and email marketing for the park.

Inventory Management:

  • Keep concession area and merchandise cases stocked with offerings that support our culture and please our guests
  • Order all supplies and equipment while managing a monthly expense template and meeting the associated line items of our budget
  • Manage the monthly inventory count and address loss issues and slow turns

Business Leadership:

  • Participate as a member of the management team to brainstorm, plan and implement innovative ways to grow and improve the business
  • Help drive in-house programming and events targeted at our wide-ranging guest demographic

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience preferred. Experience in a combination of:
  • Staff Supervision and Management
  • Inventory Management
  • Customer Service
  • Must be able to work weekends and nights

Master Scheduler – Manufacturing

Master Scheduler

Location: Greenfield, IN

Full Time Contractor – 12+ month duration

 

 

The Master Scheduler is responsible for providing strategic and tactical scheduling support for a manufacturing site. The role is responsible for creating/maintaining a production plan, representing supply chain & leading cross functional teams with manufacturers, and representing supply chain on product launch teams. This role also serves as the business process owner for specific sections of Core Operational Requirements for Reliable Supply (CORRS) guidelines, and presents production plans at ROP, and provides customer service with product information to ensure product is appropriately shipped to customers. This is a full-time 12+ month contract with a large employer in the Greenfield, IN area.

 

 

What you get to do:

  • Review product demand during monthly demand consolidation
  • Prepare monthly production plan for product families & present at ROP
  • Maintain schedule and capacity plans and review with external manufacturers
  • Release POs to contract manufacturers and maintain valid dates/quantities
  • Represent supply chain and lead the joint process teams by ensuring production plans are communicated & capable of being met
  • Manage inventory through review of slow-moving materials, materials nearing expiration/re-evaluation, and inventory accuracies
  • Monitor inventory levels at affiliates and ensure inventory is maintained within targets. Create inventory exception notifications when inventory is predicted to exceed target levels. Additionally, notifying Commercial Supply Chain & Sr. Leadership when inventory levels fall below safety stick targets or at risk for backorder.
  • Vendor management, requesting new vendor set-up and changes needed to existing vendors
  • Invoice approvals/rejects and handling exceptions
  • Perform Inventory Reconciliations monthly; quarterly, and coordinate year-end physical inventory counts at external manufacturers and/or warehouse.
  • Handling component/product destructions from warehouses
  • Process affiliate orders in SAP to ensure that they are supplied on time and in full.

 

 

What we’d like you to bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years Procurement and/or scheduling experience
  • SAP competency
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to modify processes or procedures to coincide with best practices
