Senior Accountant

Leads the preparation and analysis of corporate and manufacturing facility financial data on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.  Assists in development, implementation, and maintenance of corporate accounting related policies and procedures.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Leads the compilation of financial data on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Delivers financial results and analysis in a timely manner utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Assist with SEC reporting.
  • Equity compensation tracking and reporting.
  • Income, sales and use tax filings and state compliance matters.
  • Assists facilities with accounting processes.
  • Assists with testing and documentation of internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Participates in corporate interim and annual audit programs.
  • Manages company fixed assets and capital assets budget.
  • Collaborates with peers to complete special projects while effectively managing multiple priorities.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
  • 5-8 years’ experience in public accounting, publicly traded company, or within a manufacturing company accounting department
  • Fixed asset management
  • SEC reporting
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Previous experience with SAP preferred
  • Ability to complete projects and tasks independently
  • Comfortable with leading others on projects
