SENIOR CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT

Job Overview

Responsible for the compilation and preparation of consolidated internal and external financial statements, including periodic filings with the SEC and regulatory financial records. Responsible for preparation of journal entries and reconciliations of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.  Perform special projects as directed.

• Compile/consolidate and prepare a variety of financial reports and statements,  such as:
  • Monthly/Quarterly GAAP financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Statement of Operations, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Changes in Stockholders’ Equity and Statement of Cash Flows
  • Monthly outstanding share calculation
  • Monthly/quarterly regulatory and contractual financial reporting requirements as defined
• Draft 10-Q, 10-K, including MD&A and note disclosures, and Earnings Tables
• Prepare 10-Q, 10-K, Earnings Release and all other financial statements filed tie out support
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations, as assigned.
• Compile information requests from external audit firm for quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Perform special projects as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in an accounting preferred or substantial related experience required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting/finance in a comparable position required.CPA preferred.Experience with various software applications, such as Excel, Word, Lawson, AP, etc.Possess and maintain knowledge of, and accurately apply, generally accepted accounting principles and practices (GAAP).Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively multi-task and prioritize.Must have strong communication skills.Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
