A local Dubuque manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their Quality team. As the Quality Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products in a clean and safe production environment. The right fit candidate will have working knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, and gauges), the ability to reach technical drawings and previous working experience operating a CMM (Coordinate-measuring machine). This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for company provided benefits.

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
• Performing various tests and measurements using CMM equipment and techniques to identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate records of inspection results and testing procedures.
• Collaborating with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participating in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and processes.
• Providing regular feedback to management on quality trends, concerns, and improvement opportunities.
