A local Dubuque County manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Technician to join their Quality team. As a Quality Technician  you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the hiring company’s products meet the ISO9001 quality standards. You will be responsible for performing various quality control tests and inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify and resolve any defects or deviations from our quality standards. Your attention to detail and dedication to maintaining quality will be essential to our success. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for company provided benefits.

• Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Perform measurements and tests using various tools and equipment.
• Document and report any quality issues or non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection and test results.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

What we’d like you to bring to the opportunity:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education is a plus.
• Previous experience in a quality control role is required (2+ years)
• Previous working experience with quality control tools and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, record-keeping, and a solid understanding of statistical based quality assurance.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
