Job Overview
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's strategic operations plan, aligning it with our overall business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a diverse team of 20 operations and production employees, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Financial Management: Work closely with the leadership team to manage the operational budget, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee procurement, inventory management, and logistics to maintain a streamlined supply chain.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed and ensure adherence to all relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Vendor and Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations department.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, quality control, and process optimization.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence and manage budgets effectively.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety protocols.
- Experience in a family-owned or closely-held business is a plus.
