Job Overview

Do you want to make a difference in your community?  Are you passionate about Women's rights?  Do you want to work for justice and equality?  The YMCA / YWCA Domestic Violence Shelter is looking for team members to learn about advocating against domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
The Shelter operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year including a crisis hotline so there are a wide variety of hours available.  Pay is $9.50 per hour and there is a shift differential for early evening and overnight hours.
If you are a college student in social work, psychology, criminal justice or women's studies this would be a great stepping stone into your future.
